About

Lisner is an actor, writer, and occasional director who believes the best stories leave a mark long after the credits roll.

After years in front of the camera, she eventually picked up a pen, stepped behind the lens, and even found herself standing in front of an easel. Curiosity has always been a bit of a problem.

Naomi writes character-driven stories across a range of genres, from dark comedy and drama to thrillers and stories that refuse to fit neatly into a box. She’s drawn to flawed, funny, complicated people and the moments that reveal who they really are.

Her short films have screened internationally, and she’s currently preparing to direct her third. Alongside her filmmaking, Naomi has developed a growing slate of feature screenplays and television projects, with new work always brewing somewhere between the notebook, the laptop and the coffee machine.

A long-time supporter of the creative community, Naomi has served on industry boards, volunteered for arts organisations, and trained with some of the industry’s most respected mentors. She is represented by Daniel Scharf at Profile Creative for acting and is currently seeking literary representation, producing partners, and collaborators who love bold, character-led stories with heart, humour and a little bite.
